Short Course

The Short Course is a fabulous feature of Lake Karrinyup Country Club, providing a challenging layout to hone a player's short game and also a facility that allows members to have a quick 9 holes before or after work. The Short Course is also used for competitions in its own right and during the redevelopment of the main course, has been used as the front nine of the "composite course". In this capacity, it has proven a more difficult foe than its par and length would suggest.

Measuring around 1700m (depending on which set of tees are being played from) and a par of 31, the Short Course demands accuracy of the highest level in order to score well. Slight misses left or right will invariably result in your ball coming to rest in a position that will make par a difficult score. This little gem of a course should not be underestimated.
