112 members and their guests took part in the Legacy Golf Day today and 124 had a delightful lunch post golf in the Dining Room.\u00a0 Winners of the trophy\u00a0 were President Chris Carey and Lesley Meaney with 37 points and Runners Up were Ann-Marie Tsaknis and Craig Williams with 36 points on a countback to Jodie and Tibor von Karlowitz.\u00a0 See the “Results” sheet on the 28th April timesheet for a full list of prize winners.<\/p>\n
The Marketing Manager for Legacy WA Glenn Weiland and President John Morrow were in attendance and not only gave a very interesting insight in the work of Legacy WA but also presented our Club with a commemorative plaque to celebrate the 50th year of LKCC running this event.\u00a0 The excitement was building as everyone in attendance awaited the drawing of the raffle.\u00a0 Our lucky member Barry Barr won the first prize which was a trip to Cable Beach Resort for 5 nights including airfares valued at $3,000. Other raffle prize winners listed below.\u00a0 Susie Williams was the lucky member to win the door prize on the day – use of the Governor’s Car Park for the next 12 months.\u00a0 This year we raised an amazing $20,000 which could not have been achieved without the help of our wonderful prize donors and of course the support from our membership.<\/p>\n
