Congratulations to Juily and Rachita Vasandani who teamed up to win the State Women’s Foursome Championship which was held at LKCC on Friday 17th August. The pair shot a 3-over par in the morning round and an afternoon round of 79 to win by two strokes. Rachita continued her outstanding play to win the Australian Schoolgirls’ Championship which was played at Melville Glades and Mt Lawley Golf Courses in August. Together with Juily and Claudia Pisano (MLGC) they won the Dean Shakes Gross Team event for WA and with the State School-boys Team, won the Southern States Shield. Rachita, Hannah Green (MLGC, Chloe Beckwith (MGGC) and three others have been selected in the Australian School Girls’ team. And to top it all off, Rachita came 17th in the Callaway Junior Tournament in the USA in July. What a wonderful few months she has had.
