The Ladies’ Championship & Handicap Foursomes event took place on Thursday 16th May. The afternoon forecast for storms never eventuated and we were blessed with perfect golfing weather for the 36-hole event. We were delighted that the number of entrants in the Main Course 36-hole and 18-hole competitions were up from last year and it was wonderful to see some of our newer members supporting these events. Foursomes test friendships but obviously all were still in tact with a great atmosphere at presentations later in the day. Congratulations to the winners of all the events but especially the Championship events – Sharon Dawson & Carmen Palframen (MC Gross and Nett 36-hole winners) and Gloria Bennett & June Carnegie (SC Gross & Nett 18-hole winners).
