A move to Thursday for the Forecaddies lunch from its traditional Friday timeslot did not dampen the crowd’s spirit with over 180 in attendance for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with Billy Brownless and Sam Newman.
The lunch kicked off with some scintillating repartee between Billy and Sam before entrée’s were even served covering many hilarious stories from their playing days as well as life in the media.
After the main course Sam returned to the microphone to answer questions from the floor – which could have gone on for hours as the crowd were fully entertained with each response and story. The day was topped off with a delicious 3 course meal prepared by our team of chefs and some magnificent wines from McHenry Hohnen. Part-owner Murray McHenry was hand to provide an insight to the winery and the history of the company. As always with the forecaddies luncheons, a great day was had by all!
