The Ladies’ annual Jubilee Foursomes event was held on Thursday 25th July. Once again, we were blessed with perfect golfing weather and congratulations to everyone who took part and especially to our winners – on the Main Course, Sue Newman and Robyn Lamb and on the Short Course, Jocelyn Parry and Marie Sheridan. The theme for the evening was ‘The Magic of Musicals’ and it was wonderful to see everyone taking part as characters from Phantom of The Opera, Hair, Cats, Grease, Singing in The Rain, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots etc. We certainly have some very creative women who came up with brilliant ideas. The entertainment was world-class – our famous Golf Bags, the Ladies of the Night (thanks Dilys, Karie and Peta) and finally, the Committee Capers which was a medley of three items (thanks Helen for your patience and choreography). A huge thank you to so many people – the Flower Committee who had created beautiful flower arrangements and decorations, our wonderful staff (we are blessed with the best) and everyone for helping to make this a night to remember.
