The Ladies Club Championship for 2013 concluded on Thursday August 15th. The weather was nowhere near as kind to us this time compared to last year, but that aside we were all treated to some wonderful golf.
Our two Finals Champions in Hannah Thomson and Regina Gaujers battled against several heavy showers to finish their morning round all square. The afternoon weather was even less kind with squally winds, heavier rain and a drop in temperature. With the score fluctuating between +1 and square for most of the second round, Hannah was +1 coming into the 17th hole. She went on to win the 17th hole and so win the Ladies Club Championships for 2013 with a 2/1 victory.
Congratulations to both ladies on the wonderful spectacle you afforded all of those watching. And on that note also, congratulations and a huge thank you to all those who came out to support these two champions and braving the appalling conditions.
