Lake Karrinyup’s “Ryder Cup”

On Sunday the 22nd September the Internationals took on the Aussies in the 3rd edition of the “Ryder Cup”.

This event is played annually in a similar format to the real Ryder Cup.  The two teams consist of 12 players – playing 9 holes foursomes, 9 holes better ball and 9 holes singles.  The winning team being awarded the Dick Smith Memorial Trophy.

The Internationals had a very popular victory 13 ½ to 6 ½ over the Aussies. The internationals now lead the head to head series 2-1.  A long lunch was enjoyed by all afterwards.
