The warm weather did not stop one hundred members and guests taking part in the second twilight event of the year on Friday 24th of January, following 96 for the first twilight of the year.
The winners on the night were John and Ross McLean who won on a countback from Sue and Peter Law and Mandy and Tony O’Shea – all teams had 37 points.
With Australia Day on the Sunday the theme for dinner was Outback Australia with members served an array of traditional bush foods including damper, emu and even witjuti grubs!! Luckily the room didn’t resemble the outback with diners enjoying the comfort of the air-conditioned dining room.
The next Twilight will be held on Friday February 7th and will feature a Mexican food theme after golf. The field is filling fast and members are advised to book early.
