The “Locksley Hall” Mixed Opening Day was held on Saturday 15 March with a near capacity field of 140 taking part. Conditions were ideal for golf however scoring was tough with no pairings breaking the 70 mark. A last minute decision by Glad Freind and Hal Mulder to enter the field proved to be very fruitful with the pair winning the event with a score of 70.125 from Lesley Meaney and Chris Carey on 71.625 and Marissa and Alan Tribe on 72. Glad topped off the win with a hole-in-one on the 12th!! Following presentations 139 members and guests moved through to the dining room for a fantastic night of dinner and live entertainment.
