The eve of the Caulfield Cup was once again a success at the Club with the annual Caulfield Cup Calcutta.
90 members and their guests took part in the evening with Jack Oswald once again running the night as MC. The sweepstakes tickets were sold and drawn, followed by an exciting auction of the horses by our very own James Paxton and then the Fun Tote opened for bets on the Phantom Race. After a magnificent 3 course meal and fabulous wines, the Phantom Race Call was played and some of the lucky punters collected their winnings.
Thank you to all the table captains for rallying up their groups once again and thanks also goes to Beau and his team for a fabulous meal, Sophie and her functions team for running a smooth event and Matt and Robyn for running the tote. Thanks to Leon Platel for coming along to take part and assist with the evening also. A great night was had by all and we hope that it will be bigger and better next year.
