A number of LKCC ladies visited Wellington
NZ for three days in November to contest the R&A Millennium Trophy.
This is an annual event played by the Australasian members of the R&A
and their partners at various courses around Australia and NZ.
The first round at Royal Wellington was for practise, the second round was a
stableford competition ( played in very cold conditions with a shower of hail!)
and the final round was Foursomes par.
My partner, Jane Dawson from RSGC and I won the foursomes. Below is a photo of
the trophy but unfortunately Jane was unable to stay for presentations.
All the ladies, golfing and non golfing were very well looked after with
cultural outings, golf, dinners and a cocktail party.
