Tuesday 26th May was the Lake Karrinyup County Club Silver and Bronze Open event which had ladies travel from 14 different clubs, 69 ladies in the Silver (Stroke) and 46 in the Bronze (Stableford). The winner of the Silver Gross was the reining champion, Hannah Green (MLGC) with an outstanding score of 72, Runner up Peta Roberts 78. The Nett winner was Sally Stanford 70 and Runner up Youn Sook Lee (Joondalup) 71.. Best Gross Senior Sharon Dawson 79 and Mid Amateur Peta Roberts 78. LKCC won both team events: Gross: Peta Roberts/Sharon Dawson/Carmen Palframan 78/79/80 Nett: Sally Stanford/Julie Baker/Dawn Anderson 70/73/73. Bronze results Winner Roslyn Newick 38; Runner up Barb Sabato (WAGC) 36 Team Winners again LKCC Roslyn Newick/ Sue Elston/Liz Caren 38/35/35.
As it was a shot gun start all the ladies finished around the same time and came in to enjoy a scrumptious buffet lunch and sweet bar.
