The Younger Members KRAM Cup was held on the weekend commencing with an informal “pizza & peroni” dinner on Friday 21st November. With 4 Royal Adelaide GC members and 2 from Royal Melbourne GC, a group of 12 players took part in the Saturday afternoon competition, along with our first full playing lady member playing in the field from Royal Melbourne. Caroline also managed to received 2 balls in the presentation rundown with 36 points receiving a round of applause from those members present.
An informal dinner took place in the bistro on the Saturday evening with other younger members and partners joining the group. A “grab and go breakfast” was on offer on Sunday followed by a round of golf which was then followed by a lovely farewell luncheon and presentation. Royal Adelaide Golf Club were the proud winners of the inaugural KRAM Cup. After hosting this successful event, the Younger Members hope this will become an annual interclub match alternating host clubs each year.
