On Sunday 15th May, 27 Lake Karrinyup members traveled to Mount Lawley Golf Club to contest the annual Stirling Bowl played between Mt Lawley GC, WA Golf Club & Lake Karrinyup CC.
Following a lovely buffet lunch & drinks to start the days proceedings, the 3 clubs battled it out in tough weather conditions to be eventually won on a rare and fantastic away from home performance from our team Lake Karrinyup team, well clear in 2nd place Mt Lawley GC and then 3rd WAGC. The win was highlighted by some great individual performances from Ian Campbell on +4 who also had the best individual score for the day and Vic Nicoloff on +3.
Captain David Anderson accepted the trophy with pride and will be returning to LKCC where we hope to defend the title on home soil in 2017.
