The 2016 Friends of Breast Cancer Day was another huge success on Friday 26th August. This day is organised by a dedicated team of LKCC ladies to raise funds for and support Breast Cancer Research, including Chris Gannon, Jan McIntyre, Pauline von Karlowitz, Karie Liggins, Wendy Griffiths, Sally Campbell, Anne Hector, Anne Kofoed and Lyn Welman (to name a few).
A full field of 144 ladies took to the course for Canadian Foursomes combined score (teams of 4). The day was one by Morag Harris, Robyn Lamb, Lyn Meadows, Carmen Palframan.
After golf 241 ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch in a magnificently decorated room, with raffles and auctions to help raise funds for the day.
The FOBCR team are delighted to announce that they will be presenting a cheque for $28,000 to Professor Christobel Saunders and her research team shortly.
