The annual “Roast Golf” event took place on Sunday 28th August – an event where you can invite guests, beginner golfers, family and friends!
Despite the poor weather, over 50 members and their guests enjoyed the day with lots of fun with the usual sharing of fairways by other teams and drinks along the way to keep up the spirits.
Golf was followed by an amazing Sunday Roast in the main bar and then presentations were made and the usual Roast Themed prizes were a feature.
The day was won by Mark Leahy’s team which included his wife Alison, with a terrific score that included 6 birdies. Lyn Ward’s team came close runners-up and Angus Jones’s team coming in 3rd.
