New Year’s Eve at Lake Karrinyup was yet another highly successful event with over 200 members and their guests attending the much anticipated Balinese themed evening.
The courtyard was transformed into a tropical paradise providing members and guests with a place where fun, friends and festivities came together.
Perth crowd favourite, DJ Bronia, was spinning a mix of chill out, old school and current chart toppers and literally everyone was up busting their moves. Bean bags donned the grassed area as well as lounges, cocktail tables and chill-out areas everywhere. The cocktail bar was complete with some Bali favourites including the Kuta Illusion!
Chef Dean Williams and his team cooked up the best of Indonesian & modern Australian favourites and there was plenty of cocktail style food all night. The vibrant and aromatic tapas style and fork food menu included a range of satay varieties, beef rendang, babi guling (suckling pig), nasi goreng, succulent seafood and delicious desserts.
Everyone got into the swing of things with the “touch of tropical” themed dress code!
Our thanks to Social Committee member Tarn Hede and her helpers for the hard work they put in leading up to the event – very much appreciated. Thanks also to the LKCC staff for their preparation in the lead-up and during the night as well. What a great way to see in what we hope will be a great year ahead in 2017
