On Saturday 11th March the Lake Karrinyup Country Club season was opened with the annual Locksley Hall Trophy contested between 61 Mixed pairings.
An enjoyable day was had by all with the official welcome presented by President John Hanly and presentations conducted by newly appointed Captain John Wallace.
The eventual winners were Billie & Simon Hadfield on a fantastic nett score of 70.75 winning the beautiful replica silver goblets.
Closely followed in second place were Robyn Lamb & Graham Miller on a very handy nett score of 72 and closely following in third were Jodie Pieters & Sam Gill on 72.5 nett.
Following the presentations all moved into the dining room for a dinner filled with great food, live entertainment and a lot of fun to begin the golfing season in style.
