The 2017 White Party was held on Friday 24th March and was an outstanding success. The entrance, Terrace area and Main Bar were transformed into a “white extravaganza” … almost 300 members and their guests entered via the “white carpet” and enjoyed complimentary drinks on the Terrace. Dressed from head to toe in their white outfits (some with a dash of nautical), everyone looked amazing. The champagne flowed as DJ RYan Benney spun some tunes and warmed the crowd up in the lead up to the big band.
Chef Dean and his team prepared some divine food which was served at the pop-up food stations – a slider bar, risotto bar, seafood grill and taco bar – everyone is still raving about how good it was! .
The six piece band Darren Reid and the Soul City Groove had the dance floor full all night with their wide range of music including the 80’s and 90’s, with something for everyone.
This was the biggest and best White Party yet and a big thank you must go out to Tarn Hede from our Social Committee and her helpers for transforming the entire area into a spectacular white themed party.
