On Friday 31st March, 200 members and their guests thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining Forecaddies luncheon at the Club with football greats John Platten and Sam Mitchell as the guest speakers.
MC Ralph Gibson introduced both Sam and John who spoke openly and candidly about their careers. The crowd was kept captivated by the football legends and had the opportunity to ask questions after their presentation. Sam and John were also very happy to sign autographs and participate in group photographs. Wine distributor Dave Mullens then gave an insight into the history of the Xanadu winery in Margaret River and spoke eloquently about the Xanadu wines that had been selected to complement the food served at the lunch.
Chef Dean and his team prepared a delectable 3 course meal whilst Romana and her team did a marvellous job serving the wines and looking after the packed house.
This was the first of our Forecaddies luncheons and we will advise members when the next one is scheduled to take place.
