Congratulations to Cath Witherow and Rosemary Fowler who won this years Ladies Championship Foursomes. At the end of 36 holes the duo, along with their playing partners Joanne Ford and Peta Roberts, were into their glasses of wine ready for presentations, only to be told there was to be a playoff between the 4 ladies. Within 15 minutes they were back on the 1st ready to play holes 1, 2, 8 & 9. The two pair’s were still square at the end of their 4 play off holes so it was then sudden death down the 1st. After 41 holes, Cath Witherow and Rose Fowler were victorious once more, having won the Championship Foursomes back in 1998.
