Sunday 21st October saw the inaugural Karrinyup Spring Shootout take place over the Composite Course. This promising event has been brought to life by our Younger Members Committee lead by Sam Gill. 82 players took their place in the mixed medley field, with the format of the day being an18 hole Ambrose. The team to take out second place were Georgie & Craig Wynne, Sandy Spence and Jill Clarke while the winners, with a nett score of 48.875 (54 gross) were Andrew Green, David Curnow, Nick Vogel and Adam Price. Following the golf, a BBQ buffet lunch was enjoyed in the Dining Room. Hopefully the success of the event is carried on for years to come.
The encouragement award was won by Ralph Gibson, Graeme Pepper, John Bandy and Jeff Skinner.
