On Saturday 15th December our final major event of the season was played as 230 members enjoyed beautiful conditions for the 2018 Monte Bello Trophy ending with our first presentation in the new Members Lounge.
After some remarkably good scores throughout the day seeing 68 players having square or better our eventual winner was Elliott Mitchell with a fantastic score of +7, Congratulations Elliot. Elliot was a single shot clear of John Allcock on a great score of +6 then Stuart Thompson & James Boyd on +5. The days best gross went to Byron Winburn-Clarke with an impressive 71 off the stick & Nearest to Pins to Stuart Phillips (5th) & Scott Davison (12th).
As is the case each year at this final major event of the season, this provides a perfect opportunity to honour the members that have succeeded in our many yearly trophies as noted below
