The club welcomed West Coast Eagles Premiership players Will Schofield and Dom Sheed as guest speakers to the first Forecaddies luncheon of the year on Friday 12th April 2019.
160 members and their guests enjoyed a fabulous 3 course luncheon prepared by Executive Chef Dean Williams and his team. The food was wonderfully complemented with Wines from Woodlands Wines from Margaret River and the owner of Woodlands, David Watson gave a very interesting insight into his world of wines at Woodlands.
Everyone present was treated to well over an hour of entertaining stories, laughs and Q&A time with the lovely two young men from the Eagles, Dom and Will. After their address, the gents spent the afternoon chatting with members, taking photos and signing autographs. Will bought along some silent auction paraphernalia of which the proceeds will be donated to Legacy from the Club. The MC of the day, Damon Lonnie, thanked everyone for their attendance, thanked the food & beverage team (who were present with their smiling faces) for their efforts throughout the day and also introduced President, Con Barron who thanked the guest speakers and presented them both with a gift.
A great time was had by everyone present. The next Forecaddies luncheon has now been scheduled for Friday 2nd August and we are delighted to announce that joint Australian of the Year 2018 recipient and cave-diver Dr Craig Challen will be our guest speaker. Further details to follow shortly.
