This year we couldn’t have picked a better day for our Ladies Handicap & Championship Foursomes event, which was played this past Thursday 9 May. 120 ladies in total took part with both courses in excellent condition and on a picture perfect day!
The North Course Championship winners for 2019 are Leone Lorain and Linda Wishart with a gross score of 89 for 18 holes.
Once again on the Main course there was an exciting finish as the 36 Hole event ended with a tie. Robyn Lamb and her partner Carmen Palframan and the duo of Maddi Baxter & Judy Malone going on to compete in a 4 hole playoff. As the two pairs were still tied after 4 holes they continued down the 1st for sudden death, where Judy and Maddi sealed the victory with a clutch par putt on the 1st. Congratulations to Maddi Baxter & Judy Malone our 2019 Ladies Foursomes Champions!
Following golf the ladies gathered in the Members’ bar for nibbles and Prize Presentations, which were enjoyed by all.
