Thank you to those members who purchased raffle tickets for our Legacy Day Raffle which was drawn at the party and presentations after golf on Sunday 19th May.
A full field of 128 members and their guests took part in the golf event with 145 staying on for the evening cocktail party/presentations in the main bar post-golf. Congratulations to Elliot Mitchell and his mother Jayne Mitchell on winning the golf event with a great score of 49 points.
All of the 2,000 raffle tickets were sold and along with the proceeds raised from the Auction items on the nightt, we are pleased to advise that the Club managed to raise a total of $24,475 which will be donated directly to Legacy Perth. We thank everyone for contributing towards this.
The auction items were as follows:
- The Governor’s Car Park – $1,800
- 2 night stay for 6 people at a Bunker Bay Beach House and a 6 pack of Stormflower Wine – $850
- Golf bag – $375
- Rottnest Island Day Trip for 2 including return ferries, host for the day, buffet lunch and a glass of wine at Karma Resort, history tour and bus tour around the island – $500
- A homestead lunch & cruise plus a Segway tour for 4 adults and ferry tickets to Rottnest Island – $500
- Fremantle Dockers Nat Fyfe signed framed memorabilia – $450.
