Round 4 Pennant Blogs

Division One – Played WA Golf Club at Mount Lawley
In absolutely freezing conditions (I thought there was snow on the fairways!!) We teed off the 5th hole at 8am.
It was a very hard fought battle in most games through hole 16, however we were defeated by the top side WAGC 4/3 but it very easily could have been our match too. Team disappointment but the will to win was there all day.
Well done to our 3 winners Peta, Sheridan and Carmen.
Special thanks to our caddies who feel the pain for their players.
It would be lovely to see a few more of our LKCC members supporting these ladies in a Sunday..
We will bounce back next week ladies for a WIN…

Division Two – Played Royal Perth at Mount Lawley
Today the Div 2 pennant team took on Royal Perth at Mount Lawley winning 4/3 in a tight contest against the reigning Div 2 premiers. Anne- Marie Tsaknis got the team off to a good start with a 4/2 win, while Jan King battled back from 4 down to win her match 2/1. Regina Gaujers steadied herself over the last three holes to win 2 up, and Jodie Benney sealed the victory for us coming from behind to win on the 19th. Great effort to all players and fantastic win for the team! Thanks to all the caddies and Peta Roberts for filling in as NPC today. 😀

Division Four – Played Lakelands at Lake Karrinyup
Well in the absence of their team captain, the Super Team came through with a 6/1 win over Lakelands, so very exciting..
All games were played with intensity and in good spirit and the team were very happy with their convincing win as was their stand in NPC. The course played beautifully as did your team Regina!
True to form Felicity steered Jayne’s electric buggy into the bunker on the 14th
WELL DONE AGAIN.
