The ladies celebrated their annual Jubilee Foursomes event on Thursday 13th August. With the weather gods shining on Lake Karrinyup, 192 ladies were able to enjoy a great day of golf on both the Main and North Course. It was wonderful to see the event supported by so many members and congratulations to all players who participated on the day. Runners up on the North Course were Phil McClean and Petah Pharoah with 37 points, the winners were Delia Giggins and Andrea Colthart with 38 points. The Main Course was decided on a count back with Theresa Mullins and Rosemary Anderson finishing Runners-Up while Jan King and Vicki King took out the honours with 39 points.
Following presentations in the Members Bar the Ladies were then taken “On Safari” with the Dining Room transformed in spectacular fashion and what an amazing array of costumes! A special congratulations to the best dressed team who sported a marvellous “butterfly catchers” get-up. A special thank you to all those who provided entertainment for the night and either had the room singing along or in stitches!
