The Vice-President’s Trophy was played on Saturday 17th April with 241 players taking their place in the field.
After 3 players finishing on 40 points, victory went to John Kime who won on a countback with 21 points on the back 9.
Honours were paid to Mr Geoff Anderson at the conclusion of both morning and afternoon rounds, with President Graeme Pepper proposing a toast to Geoff at lunchtime. Mr Howard Cearns then lead the toast to Mr Geoff Anderson during the PM presentations, giving insight into Geoff’s contribution to the club over the years as well as their long standing friendship.
A great day was had by all as the evening concluded with a shout for the bar and a sterling rendition of For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.
