Sunday 27th June 2021 is the Legacy Mixed Invitational Golf Day and Luncheon. The day commences with a shotgun start at 8.30am with lunch to follow. Legacy WA is the principle charity supported by Lake Karrinyup and they do exceptional work for the families of returned service men and women. Lake Karrinyup’s support of this charity dates back almost 60 years to 1963 when the WA Golf Association asked the golf clubs throughout the state to raise funds for Legacy. Lake Karrinyup responded to this request by holding a mixed golf event which raised funds directly for Legacy.
As per previous years, the Club runs a raffle in the lead-up to Legacy Day and this year we hope to once again raise our target of well over $20,000 (all proceeds go directly to Legacy WA). We have an amazing 20 prizes (valued at over $12,824) to give away and they are listed below. At just $10 a ticket, we encourage members to purchase at least 5 or 10 tickets.Click here for a PDF order form, click here for a WordDoc order form or simply email your name, member number and amount of tickets required to robyn@lkcc.com.au The raffle will be drawn at approximately 2pm on Sunday 27th June at the luncheon and winners will be notified and listed on the website by 28th June.
We are excited to announce that His Excellency the Honourable Kim Beazley, Governor of Western Australia has generously offered his car parking space back to the club to auction off for the Legacy charity. Silent bids can be made to the General Manager, Damon Lonnie via email damon@lkcc.com.au and the final auction will take place at the Legacy event on the 27th June.
