Australian cricket legend, David Boon, was the guest speaker at our first Forecaddies Luncheon for 2021 which was held in our dining room on Friday 13th August.
The lunch was attended by 215 members are their guests and they were treated to a delicious 3 course meal prepared by Executive Chef, Jonny Peacham and his team, complemented with some lovely wines from Margaret River winery, Flametree.
MC and Vice Captain, Stephen Moloney, introduced the owners of Flametree, Rob Towner and his father John. Rob gave an overview of their family owned winery and the fabulous wines that were being served on the day.
Following the main course, Steve introduced David Boon to the mic who then entertained the crowd with an array of humorous stories he has experienced over his many years in the spotlight of his cricketing career.
