The 2022 Women’s Presidents Trophy took place at Lake Karrinyup Country Club on Thursday 2nd June with 150+ Women teeing it up across both courses. The format was 18-hole Individual Stableford.
The day kicked off at 8:30am with a chilly and cloudy shotgun start. A minor shower challenged the players mid-way through the round, but the skies cleared and delivered some great scoring.
After the round, the Women enjoyed a fantastic buffet luncheon in the Dining Room, delivered by our newly appointed Executive Chef Anthony Schell. The traditional formalities were delivered by the Female Members’ Captain Amanda Lekias and Female Members’ President Ainslie Cartwright. The theme for the Jubilee Foursomes was also announced by Ainslie and the Women were treated to a kaftan and cocktail fashion runway display courtesy of CAMILLA, also thank you to our models:- Sheila Klimczyk, Juile Cawthray, Jane Mitchell, Jane Abbott, Jenny Simpson and Maryanne Larsen.
Well done to Trish Leonhardt for winning the North Course Presidents Trophy with 36 points just piping Dianne Pendred and Henriette Maron by one point. Congratulations to Maryanne Larsen on winning the Main Course Presidents Trophy with a great score of 39 points winning by 2 points over Denise Cramer.
