The annual Lake Karrinyup Quiz Night took place on the 23rd July with 102 members and their guests enjoying the evening.
The night commenced with drinks in the bistro and then through to the Dining Room where the teams eagerly awaited the Rock/Sports Duo Quiz Masters Lachy Reid and Chris Murphy to hit the stage!
There were 6 rounds of 10 questions and running scores were published after every second round – thank you to Maryanne Larsen and Gary Thomson for doing all of the scoring on the night. There was a variety of questions, many music related with the tunes played from the talented Chris Murphy, and the whole evening was very entertaining. The paper plane throwing competition was once again a highlight of the evening. The overall winners for the evening were Damon Lonnie and his knowledgeable team – congratulations! The runners-up team with the oldest member in the room, Stan Ambler and his “harem” came a close 2nd. Well done to all who came along and enjoyed the night and a big thank you to the Food and Beverage team who work tirelessly in these challenging times to help make our events a success.
