What a month it’s been, culminating in a great day of Club Championship Finals on the 27th of October! A large number of Members came out to watch some spectacular golf in both the morning and afternoon on Sunday, in what was our second year of celebrating both the Men’s and Women’s Championship Finals on the same day. The main events of the day saw our top two seeds, Nick Curnow and Ryan Gault contest the Men’s Championship, and number one seed Sheridan Clancy contest the Women’s Championship against number three seed Isobel Dorrington. It was Ryan that came out on top in the end, winning 6 & 5 in the Men’s Championship and Sheridan winning 8 & 7 in the Women’s Championship.
In our other 36 hole events, it was top seed Nathan Robinson defeating second seed Robin Rindel on the final hole (1 Up) after a well fought match to take home the Men’s Championship Plate, and fifth seed Cameron Gillard defeating number two seed John Wallace 5 & 3 to take home the Men’s Senior Championship. 2024 Men’s Club Championship Results:
