Held on Sunday, 12th January, the 2025 Karrinyup Bowl attracted 103 entrants, with the field balloted down to 90 players to maximum handicaps of 6.5 GA.
The competition challenged players with 36 holes of Strokeplay from the Black Tees. Some tough pin placements and a 21kph breeze made for a long, tricky day on the course.
Outstanding performances included Jarad Tenni (Meadow Springs Country Club) delivering the only under par of the day, recording five birdies and three bogeys to shoot an impressive 70 off the stick (-2), and Rhys Cook (Lake Karrinyup Country Club) taking the best nett prize with a nett score of 145 nett (+1 with nett rounds of 67, 78).
It was Gareth Steyn of Joondalup Country Club however, who eventually claimed the win with a score of 148 (+4 with gross rounds of 74, 74).

Well done to all participants for braving the tough conditions!
