At the inaugural Perth Webex series event held at Royal Fremantle Golf Club this weekend, hosted by Min Woo and Minjee Lee, we had one of our leading juniors, Krishav Sheth, playing at the weekend in the Junior Series competition, ably assisted by caddy (and dad!) Amish.
Leading Junior after day 1 at 1 under par, Krishav was feeling nervous at the start of day 2 on Sunday, playing in the final grouping alongside WA’s Haydn Barron and Kirsten Rudgeley. With the putter not quite as hot as it was on day 1, Krishav found himself in a playoff with fellow WA Junior Kloden Brown. Under pressure on the green Krishav holed a tricky 10-foot downhill putt to clinch the win!!
Congratulations to Krishav on playing a great event, holding his nerve until the last putt and enjoying such a wonderful experience.
