Round 1 of the Junior Pennant season has kicked off well with all teams recording a win!
Boys Division 1 – 4-1 win over Wanneroo – who had home ground advantage! Closely fought match a number one – 2/1 loss to Ollie Marsh – well done Dan!
Boys Division 2 – 3-2 win over Joondalup
Boys Division 3 – 3-2 win over Royal Perth
Girls Division 2 – 4-1 win over Mandurah
Girls Division 4 – 3.5-0.5 win over Royal Perth
All matches played in great spirit with players looking very smart in LKCC uniform. Boys Division 3 team has many players participating in pennants for the first time – everyone played their very best and competed well to the very last holes – adding to the stress of the manager (also participating in the pennant competition for the first time).
Both girl’s teams are composite teams with Lakelands and The Vines – all players were very supportive of each other despite being from different clubs and really did all pull together as a team!
