JUNIOR PENNANT WEEK 2

It was another competitive week for our junior teams, with every player putting in a fantastic effort against some strong opponents.

  • Division 1 Boys battled hard in close matches against a strong Vines team, but unfortunately, they were narrowly defeated 3/2.

  • Division 2 Boys played a tough match against Mount Lawley, ultimately halving their contest. Both Division 1 and Division 2 teams are currently tied for second place on the ladder.

  • Division 3 Boys had a challenging match against Mount Lawley, resulting in a loss. However, special recognition goes to Jack Dyer, who delivered a brilliant 6/5 win in his first-ever pennant match! Looking ahead, this team will be heading out early for Round 3 with a drive to Mandurah Country Club.

  • Division 2 Girls had a hard-fought match against Gosnells, unfortunately coming up short, but they still hold strong in second place on the ladder.

  • Division 4 Girls achieved a great win over WAGC, securing their place firmly at the top of the ladder.

The girls’ teams had great support and collaboration with the Vines and Lakelands, showing how well everyone is working together.

Most importantly, every player demonstrated great qualities of fairness, a competitive spirit, and unwavering support for one another. We are incredibly proud to have such dedicated athletes representing LKCC in the Junior Pennant competition!
