2025 LOCKSLEY HALL

On Saturday, 8th March 2025, we hosted the prestigious Locksley Hall Trophy, a tradition dating back to 1930. This mixed event serves as LKCC’s Season Opener, making us one, if not the only Club in the country to start our season this way—bringing together Members of all backgrounds for a day of spirited competition.

Under perfect autumn conditions, with a light breeze and clear skies, competitors embraced the Canadian Foursomes format, where skill and strategy, [and definitely no arguments] were on full display. Our winners (backing up their winning performance in 2022) were Morag and Jules Harris with a nett score of 67.25, just 5/8ths in front of Runners Up Georgia Derham and Shane Cartwright.

Our best Gross score of the day was Peta Roberts and Cam Gillard with a score of 76.

Beyond the scores, the true highlight of the day was the camaraderie which makes Lake Karrinyup such a special place.

As always, the Locksley Hall Trophy proved why it remains a cherished fixture on the LKCC calendar, setting the tone for another great year of golf.
