The Seniors and Veterans Trophy was played for on Saturday 14th June, 2025.
A crisp winter’s day set the scene for this year’s Veterans & Seniors Trophy, with strong representation across all age categories on both courses.
The event was first played in 1959, after a suggestion was made to the Committee by Gig Bible.
The joining fee was originally 3 guineas, which has been converted to today’s fee of $6.30.
Congratulations to Paul Larsen, who claimed the Veterans & Seniors Trophy with a score of +4 on countback, edging out a tightly contested fields of both the Veterans & Seniors brackets. (55–69 – Veterans & 70+ – Seniors).
In the Senior (70+) division, it was Kevin Prindiville who led the way, posting a solid +2 to top his category, just a couple of points away from the win.
Among the Non-Veterans (under 55), Phillip Keenan emerged as the standout, carding +3 on countback to take top honours in that group.
Meanwhile, over on the North Course, John French was crowned the North Course Legend, with an excellent 36 points in the stableford format—securing bragging rights among the 70+ contingent.
