The Paul Trophy was played on Saturday 5th July as part of the long standing morning players tradition.
Playing Stroke off the Blue tees, low scoring from the morning field with 10 players bettering their handicap. With winning the trophy conditional upon attending the Players’ Lunch, it was Matthew Allen who took home the win with a fine score of 69 Nett of his 7 handicap.
The Paul Arnold Trophy dates back to its inaugural playing in 1973 with a strong history amongst the Saturday Morning field with Matthew now adding his name to the winners list.
