On Thursday, 3rd July, we celebrated both past and present captains with an Individual Par competition. After some showers overnight and into the early morning, the course presented a challenging test for all participants.
The Main Course saw 92 female members compete for the Captain’s prize, which for this year was a beautiful hamper full of goodies from Captain Jill Dorrington. Jo Harvey took out 1st place with a great score of +3 beating Hannah Mitchell by 2 shots on a score of +1 whilst also taking out best Gross Stableford on a score of -3.
The North Course fielded 35 players with Maree Adair claiming top spot with a fantastic score of +4, her closest rival was Yvonne Patterson with a only 1 shot short of victory on +3.
The celebration continued at the Captain’s Trophy Lunch, with over 130 attendees coming together to recognise Jill Dorrington and enjoy a wonderful afternoon.
Over the weekend, Deb Tanham came out on top with a score of +1
