2026 Karrinyup Bowl

Held on Sunday, 11th January, the 2026 Karrinyup Bowl attracted 95 entrants, with the field balloted down to 90 players to maximum handicaps of 7.7 GA. The competition challenged players with 36 holes of Strokeplay from the Black Tees. Some tough pin placements and morning gusts from the East turned South-west breeze in the afternoon made for a long, tricky day on the course.

The best of the morning was from James Isaia (Western Australian Golf Club) delivering the only even par round of the morning, recording two birdies and two pars for an even 72 off the stick, with Adam Baille (The Vines GCC) was just one shot back with a +1, 73 in the morning.

For the Overall Nett it was James Isaia (Western Australian Golf Club) taking the best nett prize with a nett score of 148 nett (+4 with nett rounds of 71, 77).

For the Bowl, the Gross prize of the day it was Adam Baille of The Vines GCC, who claimed the win with a score of 143 (-1 with gross rounds of 73, 70). Adam came out the gates after lunch with two quick birdies on the 1st and 2nd, and completing the second with a two under 70, even after a nervy 3 putt from 20ft on the 17th, Adam cruised to a 4 shot victory over Euguene Smith (147) from Kingston Heath GC and our very own Club Champion Simon Liddell finishing 3rd on a total of 148.

Well done to all participants for braving the tough conditions!
