Direct Debit for Member House Accounts

Following the successful introduction of the LKCC App, which provides members with direct access to live account charges, the Club is pleased to introduce Direct Debit as a ew payment option for member house accounts.

This new facility is designed to provide a more convenient and reliable way for members to ensure their house account balance is paid in full by the due date each month. We strongly encourage Members to consider taking advantage of this option.

Members who sign up for Direct Debit by the end of March 2026 will receive a $25 voucher on Saturday evenings at the Grill.

How the Direct Debit Facility Works

Members can safely set up the Direct Debit facility by completing below form. Upon submission, the request is automatically transmitted to the Accounts team to ensure secure set up within the system.

Please note that this form works best when accessed using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Processing of payments via the Direct Debit Facility will commence in March 2026, which will be for February 2026 statement.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

This is your Direct Debit Service Agreement (the Agreement) with Lake Karrinyup Country Club (Inc.) ABN 89 897 686 241. The Agreement explains your obligations when undertaking a Direct Debit arrangement with us and our obligations to you as your Direct Debit provider.

Please keep this Agreement for future reference. It forms part of the terms and conditions of your Direct Debit Request (DDR) and should be read in conjunction with your DDR.

The terms of this Agreement are for the purpose of debiting the full balance of the prior month’s statement owing as shown on the monthly statement from your account.

Definitions

account means the account held at your financial institution from which we are authorised to arrange for funds to be debited.

agreement means this Direct Debit Request Service Agreement between you and us.

debit day means the 2^nd last business day of each month.

debit payment means a particular transaction where a debit is made.

direct debit request means the Direct Debit Request between us and you.

us or we means Lake Karrinyup Country Club (the Debit User) you have authorised by requesting a Direct Debit Request.

you means the customer who has signed or authorised by other means the Direct Debit Request.

your financial institution means the financial institution nominated by you on the DDR at which the account is maintained.

1. Debiting your account	1.1 By signing or submitting a Direct Debit Request (DDR), you authorise us to debit your nominated account or credit card. 1.2 We will only arrange for funds to be debited from your account as authorised in the Direct Debit Request. 1.3 The Debit Amount will be the full balance of the prior month’s statement, unless payment has already been made in full before the Debit Day.
2. Amendments by us	2.1 We may vary any details of this agreement or a Direct Debit Request at any time by giving you at least fourteen (14) days written notice.
3. Amendments by you	You may change*, stop or defer a debit payment, or terminate this agreement by providing us with at least 14 days notification by emailing accounts@lkcc.com.au or in writing to: Accounts Officer Lake Karrinyup Country Club PO Box 83 Karrinyup WA 6018 or by telephoning us on 08 9422 8222 during business hours.
4. Your obligations	4.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account to allow a debit payment to be made in accordance with the Direct Debit Request. 4.2 If there are insufficient clear funds in your account to meet a debit payment: you may be charged a fee and/or interest by your financial institution; you will incur a $15 default account fee imposed by us; and you must arrange for the debit payment to be made by another method or arrange for sufficient clear funds to be in your account by an agreed time. 4.3 You should check your account statement to verify that the amounts debited from your account are correct.
5. Dispute	5.1 If you believe that there has been an error in debiting your account, notify us on 08 9422 8222 or email accounts@lkcc.com.au.
6. Accounts	You should check: your account details provided to us are correct by checking them against a recent account statement.
7. Confidentiality	7.1 We will keep any information (including your account details) in your Direct Debit Request confidential. 7.2 We will only disclose information: to the extent required by law; or for the purposes of this agreement.
8. Notice	8.1 If you wish to notify us in writing, email accounts@lkcc.com.au. 8.2 We will notify you by sending a notice to the address provided in the Direct Debit Request.

Direct Debit Service Agreement – Summary

By signing below, I/we acknowledge and agree that:

• This Direct Debit authority applies to the full balance of the previous month’s statement, not a subscription or fixed amount.
• Monthly statements will continue to be issued, and I/we have a minimum of 14 days to review charges and raise any queries prior to the debit date.
• I/we may cancel or vary this authority by providing written notice to the Club in accordance with the Direct Debit Service Agreement.
• A $15 default account fee will apply to any failed or returned Direct Debit transactions.
• This authority will remain in place until cancelled by me/us in writing.
• Surcharges on credit card transactions will apply.
