On Saturday 28th February, the 6th edition of this event was held, celebrating not only all of the Davids at LKCC but also St David’s Day (1 March). St David is the patron saint of Wales, and the Feast of St David has been celebrated since the 12th century.
Playing for the iconic trophy in the form of The Statue of David, the event was keenly contested by 11 players.
Congratulations to David Evans on winning the 2026 event with 35 points, and also to David Sceales as runner-up (for the second year running), also with 35 points.
David Martin was only one shot further back in a sterling effort to defend the title he won in 2025.
In total, 20 different Davids have participated in the event since its inception.
