The Daisy Savage Bowl remains one of the most significant and historic events on the LKCC women’s calendar. Daisy Savage’s connection to the Club dates back to 1928, when she was invited by then Captain Keith Barker to become a Foundation Member. She went on to become LKCC’s first Lady Captain in 1930 and played a vital role in rebuilding the Club’s social community following WWII. Her legacy has continued through generations of her family, reflecting the enduring spirit of this event.
This year, Valerie was once again proud to present our winners of this major event. 82 pairs of Female Members played in the fourball event on the main course. Winning the event on a countback over Shiralee McCracken and Abigael Williams with 48 points were Kay Webse and Claire Stocks.
