The annual Champagne Golf event took place on Sunday 18th January with great weather forecast for the day. A delightful champagne breakfast kicked off the morning and then all 75 members and their guests (teams of 6) played a fun 10 hole Ambrose game on the North Course with “special’ rules.
Fashion featured highly this year with Peter Law and his Pink Ladies who took out third place overall on the day. Team ‘Natatui’ dressed in Black & Red came 2nd and Andrew Mutzig’s team came 1st. There were Sparking Prizes all around with Passion Pop as the NAGA. The scores were extremely close calculated to the 4th decimal point. This was the biggest field ever for this event and congratulations must go to the Social Committee for once again organizing another successful event in our Fixtures.
