A full shot gun field of 144 ladies took part in our Silver/Bronze on Tuesday 17th May. There were 100 visitors from various clubs competing for the LKCC Silver and Bronze trophies. This was a State, Senior and Mid-amateur ranking event in the Silver divsion. The Silver was stroke with playing handicaps up to 20, and the bronze was a stableford event with handicaps 21-36. The conditions were perfect, even though the field moved slowly a great day of golf was had by all. The winner of the Silver was Angie Yang from Royal Fremantle with a round of 78 and the runner up, Georgia Shears of Joondalup with 79. The nett Winner was LKCC’s Dyana Fripp with a score of 72 and runner up was Sherry Bell-Vaughan also LKCC member with 73. Other ranking prizes awarded included: Senior’s Gross: Alison Eather (WAGC) 81, Nett: Shirley McCabe 73. Mid Amateur Gross: Mardi Evans (WAGC) 79 and Nett: Robyn Lamb 74. The Bronze event winner on a fantastic score of 40 was Di Gillard from LKCC. Runner Up: Gloria Shiers from Wanneroo on 35points. For full results click here.
