“A small but enthusiastic group of girls took full advantage of two of the three clinics held by Graham Warburton during the school holiday period. (These were funding by the ladies generous donation to the junior girls)
As always, during the winter, many of the junior girls are lured by other sporting commitments. So with only two Junior girls playing regularly through the colder months, these clinics were a timely incentive to encourage the younger, primary school aged girls to develop their game.
Graham spent the first hour long session on the range with the girls. It was a pleasure to listen to him help each girl individually and fantastic to see such improvement during the intense session. The second clinic was split between the range and the putting green and again Graham’s advice and encouragement was inspirational.
The girls have one session remaining but it is fair to say this was a valuable and much appreciated opportunity.
All of the three participants have progressed through the very successful Sub Junior program, which feeds girls and boys into the Junior section. We will hopefully see these three young ladies around Lake Karrinyup for many years to come!”
